Wired World was a city-commissioned public art installation created to spark awareness around e-waste, one of the fastest-growing environmental challenges of our time. Through this project, we collaborated with community members, local NGOs, and waste management teams to uncover the hidden journey of our discarded electronics. Our team visited landfills, interviewed environmental educators, and gathered materials directly from recycling centers, transforming them into a large-scale installation that visualized the tangled web between technology, consumption, and the planet.

More than just an artwork, Wired World became a conversation hub, inspiring San Diegans to rethink their digital footprint and learn about the city’s many free e-waste recycling programs.
